Hi, I'm Jan De Lassen!

Don't let my name confuse you! It's a Scandinavian name.  In fact, I have dual nationality:
born in Venezuela to a Venezuelan mother and a Danish father.
So, since an early age I realised how difficult it is to communicate in a language that you don´t know.
Also, how important it is to learn a  new language as a vehicle to get access to a whole new
world of  visions, cultures, traditions and ways of thinking around the world.

How to do it? Personally I thought of creating a school in Barcelona combining the setting up of a universal atmosphere and  
dynamic staff whilst at the same time creating an effective methodology that allows you, as a student, to learn faster with minimum effort.
The result is diloga and the diloga method, based on conversations at all levels, memorizing through association, visualization  and repetition  and on the other hand socializing with the other members
of the diloga family through our activities.

I´ve been a  language teacher myself since 1986, combined with 
other jobs, but have always enjoyed the process of teaching people from 
all nationalities and levels.

I am not only the director of diloga, but also part of the teacher's team.
We know you care, we know you have the choice and we want to fulfill your language needs.
Our courses start from intense conversational and understanding training to watching and interpreting literature and movies, from learning by visiting museums, to having lunch or going shopping in one of the colourful  Barcelona markets.

There are so many ways to approach a language!
